Arrow Out: clear the board one arrow at a time

Arrow Out is a free logic puzzle you can play in your browser. The board is packed with colored tiles, and each one points up, down, left or right. Tap a tile and it slides off the board in the direction of its arrow, but only if nothing is standing in its way. Clear every tile to finish the level.

How to play

1. Look along each arrow. If the line to the edge of the board is empty, that tile can escape.
2. Tap it to send it flying off the board. This might free up tiles that were stuck behind it.
3. If you tap a tile whose path is blocked, it bumps into the blocker and you lose a heart.
4. You have three hearts per level. Clear all the tiles before they run out.

Tips

• Start at the edges. Tiles on the border pointing outward can always escape.
• Follow the chain. When a tile leaves, check which arrows were pointing at the gap it left.
• No dead ends. Removing a tile never makes the board harder, so there's no wrong order, only wrong taps.
• Stuck? Hint highlights a tile that is safe to tap.

FAQ

Can every level be solved?

Yes. Levels are built backwards from an empty board, so there is always a way to clear them.

Does it get harder?

The board grows from 4×4 up to 9×9, and it gets more crowded as you go.
