Word Seek: free word search puzzles

Word Seek is a relaxing word search game for your browser. Each puzzle has a theme, such as animals, fruits, space, music or travel, and a grid of letters hiding a list of words. Find every word to finish the puzzle. New puzzles keep coming, and they get a little trickier as you go.

How to play

1. Find a word from the list in the letter grid.
2. Drag from its first letter to its last letter. You can also tap the first letter, then tap the last letter.
3. Words can run across, down and, in later puzzles, diagonally and even backwards.
4. Find all the words to complete the puzzle.

Difficulty

• Levels 1–3: 8×8 grid, 6 words, across and down only.
• Levels 4–8: 9×9 grid, 7 words, plus diagonals.
• Level 9 and up: 10×10 grid, 8 words, in all eight directions, including backwards.

Tips

• Scan for rare letters such as Z, X, Q, K or V first. They stand out.
• Look for double letters, like the two Os in BOOK or the two Ls in LLAMA.
• Stuck? Hint makes the first letter of a hidden word glow.
